Brother Andrew

Before I launch my tirade on homosexuality, human rights and hell (3 H's) I want to introduce a good friend of mine and fellow blogger, Andrew Walton. Andrew and I went to salvo college together and was instrumental in me making it through 2 years of difficult times. We would often spend hours debating theological and spiritual concepts, which helped me define many of my beliefs. He has started a blog at: http://andrewwalton.blogspot.com/ and it is well worth your while to check him out. He is a bit like a velvet sledge hammer, what he says may come across polite, considerate and almost placid, but it will rock your world. Go see Andrew!

  1. Thank you for your generous words Brother Troy. :)

College was such a trying yet formative time. I have many fond memories of those hours of discussion and debate.

You won't be too surprised to learn that my theological position has continued to change over the past couple of years. I have tried to remain open-minded and believe I have become increasingly accepting of theological positions other than my own (Maybe a little less modern-liberal and a little more post-modern somehow!?!).

With a strong focus on the ethical outcomes of what we believe, at times I could perhaps be fairly accused of relativising faith. I feel that reality forces our hand here more than most of us would care to admit.

I will look forward to your posting on Human Rights, as I think I know and agree with what you believe on the other two H’s.

Hope you and family are well. Catch up soon.

    Jah Bless
